Our approach:

     We analyse, design, develop and implement solutions quickly and effectively and offer full project lifecycle management. We promote a collaborative methodology, working closely with customers in order to produce prototypes and demonstrate through a requirement focused RAD process.

Requirements gathering and specification:

     The first phase of any development project is the performing of a full requirements gathering exercise. Our analysts will talk to the project sponsor as well as end users to formulate an exact list of requirements for your software. Our preferred design methodology is, as mentioned above, "Rapid application development" (RAD) and we place emphasis on user involvement during the design process.

     From this requirement gathering process, a system specification is produced for your approval. Once signed off this will be used as the basis for the project's development.

Development:

     During the development process we will meet with you regularly to discuss progress and any required changes to specification.

Data migration:

     Gurg have vast experience in migrating data from existing systems, whether existing RDBMS, user files or other formats. We can take existing flat-file data and transform it into a normalised structure.

Training:

     Where necessary Gurg will implement a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and design suitable courses for your users as an integral part of any software solution that is deployed.

Support:

     Ongoing support for solutions is provided via our unique flexible support mechanism, alternatively, we can offer “traditional” support and maintenance agreements.
